Buying a home is one of the largest financial decisions most people will ever make. Our goal is to provide the information you need to make that decision with greater confidence. We focus on delivering thorough inspections, detailed reporting, and responsive communication from scheduling through report delivery.
First of all the communication was great, the inspector call beforehand and ask for my concerns and handle those. Very thorough service leaving me with a clear understanding of what I was purchasing. I highly recommend their services.👍
I had a great experience with Redfish Inspections for my home purchase . Gary Parr was thorough, professional, and clearly knows his craft. The report was incredibly detailed — over 30 pages with photos, videos, and clear explanations of every finding, from roof and structural issues down to electrical safety items I never would have caught on my own. He even included a sewer scope with camera footage, which gave me real negotiating power before closing. The report was easy to understand, with each item categorized by severity and practical recommendations on who to call. As a first-time buyer navigating a big decision, this inspection gave me the clarity and confidence I needed. Highly recommend Gary and the Redfish team!
Redfish was fantastic to work with! They were incredibly efficient, thorough, and made the entire inspection process easy. Trey did an excellent job explaining everything in a way that was easy to understand and took the time to answer all of our questions. I highly recommend Redfish and Trey if you’re looking for a detailed and professional home inspection.

I cannot say enough great things about Redfish Home Inspection. From start to finish, the entire process was professional, informative, and stress-free. Julie was absolutely fantastic. She was professional, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable. She patiently answered my many questions and made sure I understood every step of the process. Her customer service was exceptional and truly set the tone for a positive experience. Inspector Bill S. was equally impressive. His attention to detail was outstanding, and his professionalism and expertise were evident throughout the inspection. He took the time to thoroughly evaluate the property, explain his findings, and answer all of my questions in a way that was easy to understand. His knowledge and commitment to excellence gave me great confidence in the inspection results. Redfish Home Inspection clearly hires only the best of the best. The level of service, professionalism, and expertise provided by both Julie and Bill S. exceeded my expectations. I will absolutely recommend Redfish Home Inspection to my friends and family, and I will not hesitate to use their services again in the future. Thank you again, Julie and Bill S., for such an exceptional experience!
I am very happy with Redfish. Inspector Johnathan was amazing. My wife and I are building our first home and we used Redfish for the inspection. They were extremely detailed and thorough. They used a drone to inspect the roof and a scope to inspect the sewage system. They took the time to explain and walk me through all of her findings. The report that was produced is easy to understand, has pictures and even videos. I couldn’t be happier with their services. Highly recommend.
Buying a house is not without stress and then when you find the one you love, you wonder - what's behind the paint, the wall, is there enough insulation or is the house like a sieve, do the things work like they supposed to, how about the roof, the gutters, the foundation and them critters, we are in Texas after all. Redfish Inspections was recommended by our realtor, whom we truly trust and they did not let us down. Scheduled a next day appointment, our inspector Stephen got in touch to let us know when he will be there and that we are welcome to meet him to discuss his findings. We opted for the Ultra Package to get a good baseline at the beginning of our ownership. We received the detailed report before the end of the same day, grouped by subject and complete with photos, videos and recommendation. There is no way any buyer would have the capacity to complete such a thorough examination without expert help. The report included a general summary of the house then structural systems including roof, gutters, foundation, doors, windows, hardware, fences, next electrical, HVAC, plumbing and appliances - which in our case revealed a leaking dishwasher.
We were very happy with the depth of the inspection, Stephen was extra helpful, explained and answered all our questions - I can highly recommend RedFish Inspection services.
I had a great experience with Redfish Inspections and would highly recommend them.
From the very beginning, Anne was extremely helpful when I called to ask about scheduling and the inspection process. She answered all of my questions, explained the different inspection packages clearly, and never once made me feel pressured to choose a specific option.
Stephen came out to perform the inspection and did an excellent job. He was very thorough and took the time to walk me through what he was seeing while he inspected the home. He explained things clearly and was very patient with the questions I had along the way.
The online inspection report was also very detailed and easy to follow, which made it simple to understand the findings and next steps.
Overall, it was a very professional and smooth experience from start to finish. I would absolutely use Redfish Inspections again and would confidently recommend them to anyone needing a home inspection.
Met with Daniele Thacker for an inspection on a home we’re closing on. I didn’t know much about home inspections or even what questions to ask, but Daniele walked me through everything answering any questions I had & advising me on this or that. Very knowledgeable and professional—highly recommend.
Michael Funches, thank for a detailed inspection. Very professional and know what he is doing. I would recommend him to anyone needing their property inspected.
Five stars for Inspector Robert! Our inspector, Robert Ramirez, was incredibly professional, kind, and knowledgable through the entire inspection process. As a first time home buyer, he helped me understand everything he was looking at and everything going in the report. I probably asked him more questions than he’s gotten in a while, and he answered every one! Would recommend Red Fish and ask for Robert!
They just finished doing a house inspection in a home that I am buying. Their communication is excellent, their inspection was excellent and they were very thorough and professional. I appreciate it. I highly recommend them.
Mr. Bill and Redfish Inspections were fabulous! Easy to contact, easy to work with, competent and honest. Mr. Bill was very thorough and was eager to share his findings with us. He found a few issues that easily make up for the cost of the inspection.
I highly recommend Redfish and Mr. Bill and hope to work with them again.
I am a new realtor and I Red Fish was the first inspections company I worked with on my 1st clients home inspection. Jose was friendly, wonderful and very informative. My realtor and I booked Redfish due to my realtor having good experiences and they inspect new builds. We booked the Ultra package because we wanted to EVERYTHING. We wanted to see the foundation condition , sewer/sewer line, and lawn irrigation system. The service was fast and the detailed. Jose arrived at 1pm and we received the written report at 5pm ON THE SAME DAY! We will definitely be using Redfish for our 1 year inspection.
We used José Farinacci for our phase 1, phase 2, and closing inspection and could not be more happy! He was wonderful to work with and was very thorough with his inspection! We got a detailed report for each inspection and he truly went above and beyond to make sure our house was built safe and up to code! Couldn’t recommend him and redfish more!
I had a fantastic experience working with Jose. He was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and professional throughout the entire inspection process. I got the Delux package and was happy to hear they had educator discounts. My inspector was Jose and he did an awesome job. I walked through the inspection with him and he clearly explained things he was looking for and any new standards that are in place. I would highly recommend Redfish inspections and will likely use then in the future.
This company was great all around. Easy to schedule, quick to get it done, thorough, and would highly recommend. My inspector was William and he was at the house for 4+ hours making sure he didn’t miss anything. Very happy

Each property type presents different inspection considerations. Older homes may require closer attention to aging plumbing, electrical systems, and settlement-related concerns.
Newer homes often benefit from detailed construction-phase or warranty inspections to identify items that can be addressed while builder warranties are still in effect. RedFish combines experienced inspectors with modern technology to evaluate accessible systems and deliver findings in plain language.

Residential Home Inspection
A residential home inspection provides a comprehensive visual evaluation of a home's major systems and components. Our inspectors examine the home's structural elements, roofing, electrical system, plumbing, HVAC equipment, attic, insulation, interior, exterior, and visible drainage conditions to help buyers and homeowners better understand the property's current condition.
Whether the home is five years old or fifty, a professional inspection provides valuable information before you finalize one of your largest investments.
Buying a home in Conroe is exciting, but it's important to understand the property's condition before closing. Our Buyer Inspection helps identify observed deficiencies, deferred maintenance, and safety concerns in accessible areas so you can make informed decisions during your purchase.
The report provides detailed photographs, organized findings, and practical explanations that are easy to review with your REALTOR®.
Selling a home? A pre-listing inspection can help you understand the home's condition before it goes on the market.
Many sellers appreciate knowing about issues ahead of time because it allows them to address concerns, plan repairs, or disclose conditions more confidently during negotiations while reducing surprises after the buyer's inspection.
New Construction Inspection
Even newly built homes can contain installation deficiencies or incomplete work. RedFish performs inspections during various stages of construction to document observed conditions before construction progresses.
Most builders provide a one-year workmanship warranty. Scheduling an inspection before that warranty expires gives homeowners an opportunity to identify observed conditions that may be appropriate to discuss with their builder while warranty coverage is still available.
Many homeowners are surprised by the number of items discovered during these inspections, even in homes that appear to be in excellent condition.
Luxury homes often feature sophisticated mechanical systems, premium finishes, expansive roofing systems, smart-home technology, pools, outdoor kitchens, guest houses, and extensive site improvements.
These properties deserve a thorough inspection that considers the complexity of the home's design and features.
Farm & Ranch Inspection
Montgomery County includes many rural homes and acreage properties surrounding Conroe, Montgomery, Willis, and New Waverly.
Farm and ranch inspections may include evaluation of the residence along with accessible outbuildings, barns, detached garages, well systems, septic systems, and other improvements, depending on the services requested.
Commercial Property Inspection
Commercial properties require a different level of due diligence. Whether you're purchasing an office building, retail center, warehouse, restaurant, or multi-tenant investment property, RedFish performs commercial inspections designed to help owners and investors better understand the condition of major building systems and components.
Every property is different. RedFish offers specialty services that can be added to many standard home inspections to provide additional information about systems not fully evaluated during standard inspections:
Every standard residential inspection includes a visual evaluation of accessible systems and components in accordance with the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) Standards of Practice.

Why Homes in Conroe Need Local Inspection Knowledge
Every Texas community has its own environmental conditions that influence residential construction. Conroe is no exception. Local inspection knowledge helps identify conditions commonly associated with Montgomery County homes while recognizing that every property is unique.
Expansive Clay Soils
Many Conroe neighborhoods are built on soils that expand when wet and contract during hot, dry summers. Seasonal soil movement can contribute to foundation movement, drywall cracking, sticking doors, uneven floors, and masonry separation.
Roof Performance & Weather
Montgomery County experiences strong thunderstorms, hail, high winds, and severe heat. Inspectors evaluate accessible roofing materials for damaged shingles, flashing deficiencies, penetration seals, and overhanging branch impact.
Heavy Rainfall & Drainage
Conroe receives substantial annual rainfall. Proper grading, gutters, and downspout extensions play a critical role in directing water away from the foundation to prevent moisture intrusion or foundation stress over time.
Elevated Humidity & HVAC
Properties near Lake Conroe face elevated humidity. Moisture can affect wood components, attic ventilation, and HVAC performance. Long cooling seasons put significant demand on HVAC air handlers, drainage, and coils.
New Construction Quality
Demand and fast build schedules in rapid-growth subdivisions can result in incomplete installations, cosmetic defects, improperly adjusted HVAC units, or roofing errors before move-in.
Mature Trees & Landscaping
Established Conroe trees provide shade but can influence drainage patterns, impact driveways or flatwork, and extract soil moisture near foundations during dry summer spells.
Buying a home doesn't have to feel overwhelming. Our process is designed to provide clear communication from initial scheduling through final report delivery.
